For some reason I always get emotional when I hear Beautiful by Christina Aguilera. The lyrics are very powerful. They are words that we should say to ourselves every day and believe. They are words we should tell the young beauties in our life and older beauties as well. We all have moments, whether we want to admit it or not, where we are a little insecure.
Last night I was sitting on my living room floor thinking how I would love to have nicer skin, lose 5 pounds, tone, etc. but as women are we ever completely happy with ourselves? The answer for most is probably no, but we should be. I'm taking a stand today to love the skin I'm in...not just when I'm dolled up but in moments like these. I know my beauty comes from within and because of that it should show on the outside regardless of what’s applied to my face or what I’m wearing.
